Featuring Gardner McFall. McFall's poems have been published in The New Yorker, The Nation, Poet Lore, and The Hopkins Review. A native Floridian and Navy junior and the author of Russian Tortoise, The Pilot's Daughter, & Amelia (libretto) McFall's forthcoming chapbook On the Line (Finishing Line Press) arrives later this fall. Three poems from it have already appeared in Norton’s 2018 anthology and Poetry and Prose by Vietnam Veterans and Refugees.

Celebrate an eclectic mix of poetic voices in a casual setting. Open mic with outstanding featured readers. 1⁄2 featured reader, 1⁄2 open mic. Read 1 poem (a favorite of your own or someone else's). Open to all members of the public (and even others). Doors open at 6:30pm, reading starts at 7:00pm. Arrive a few minutes early to sign-up for the reading. Meets Third Thursdays monthly. With wine and cheese.

Share stories of any kind – personal experience stories, folk tales, and more. Stories may be at any stage of development, from first stabs to polished pieces. Open to tellers of all levels of experience. Tellers can receive valuable feedback from the group if they choose. You are also welcome to simply listen! We are informal, friendly, and fun. Snacks and refreshments provided.
